so you wanna replace your spinner’s teflon.  you have 2 options:  send it to my machinist (contact info at the end) or DIY.  if you choose the latter here’s what you’ll need to do.
my machinist will send you the piece of Teflon with all the holes punched out.
You will need gloves, pliers, a hair dryer or heat gun, acetone, chemical paint brush, razor blade, and contact cement for Metal, Plastic, Rubber.
1. Heat up the plate with a hair dryer for about 10 minutes, from the Teflon side.
2. Pull the Teflon apart with gloves or with the help of pliers.
3. Clean the Aluminum part with acetone until it does not have any glue residue. Be patient.
4. Apply the Contact Cement on both parts, the Aluminum and the Teflon on the brown color side, with the help of a brush.
5. Wait for about 5 to 10 minutes, then put them together, trying to align the holes as close as possible.
6. Mount the top part of the Spinner and tighten it with the knob to sandwich the Teflon in between, for about 2 hours, to make sure it will be glued evenly.
7. Cut the extra material with an exact-o knife, or a razor blade, all around the plate, and let it set for about 1 more hour.
8. Clean all excess glue off with acetone
