in partnership with Jim Candreva of JC Camera Systems, we are proud to present the Almost Universal Umbrella Pin. Â unlike our previous umbrella pins which are specifically for either Yaeger Case Cart or Backstage carts, these new Almost Universal Umbrella Pin will work on almost any cart as they clamp to the lip of the shelf instead of fitting in the post hole. Â (see pic below for dimensions).
The Yager Pro Cart’s long lip is too thick for this bracket but it will fit on the wide side.
the Almost Universal Umbrella Pins work with any of the Sportbrella models: 3/4″ for the Super-brella and Core or 1″ for the Ultra-brella, Premiere, Premiere XL or Sunsoul models. please check the Sportbrella webpage carefully before ordering. To use the umbrella pin, you will have to remove the extension post on your Super & Ultra, remove the corkscrew on the Core, or remove the extension post & inner post plug on the Premiere, XL & Sunsoul models.  These pins may work with other umbrellas that have either 3/4″ or 1″ inner diameter posts.

Dimension of the Almost Universal Umbrella Pin:
The pin is 3″ high & the clamping base is 3″ for a total length of 6″, and weighs about 3lbs.
The 3/4″ pin fits the Sport-brella Super & Core models (with modification).
The 1″ pin fits the Sport-brella Ultra, Premiere, Premiere XL & Sunsoul models (with modification).

Top-quality material and easy to install. Might be a bit challenging under strong wind due to the nature of the clamp design. Also, the cart shelf has to be strong enough to prevent shake causing by the leverage of the umbrella.
