Preston Single Channel Bracket 2.0, $200 standalone
Mounts to the back of yer Preston single channel focus/iris unit without interfering with battery changes. Comes with longer replacement screws for a clean install. As of May 2018, all single channel plates include the cutout for the external antenna switch, so whichever version of the unit you’re running, it fits. The 2.0 version released December 2023 adds feet that let it mount directly to the Preston Handunit Base included in this combo, that connection is the whole reason the 2.0 exists.

Does the Bracket 2.0 work with both the HU3 and HU4?
The Bracket 2.0 mounts to the single channel focus/iris unit. The Rosie HU3/4 version in this combo works with both the Preston HU3 and HU4 hand units.
What’s new in the 2.0 version of the bracket?
The feet. They allow direct mounting to the Preston Handunit Base included in this combo, that’s the connection the 2.0 was designed for. Also includes the external antenna switch cutout that’s been standard since May 2018.
Does the base work with just the single channel, or other Preston hand units too?
The base is built specifically for the Preston Single Channel and the HU3. For the HU4 and other systems, the Rosie Handunit Bracket is the better option, it covers a wider range of systems without the base.
What are the anti-twist pins on the Rosie for?
They’re removable discs that give you three mounting configurations and prevent the bracket from rotating once it’s positioned. If you’ve ever had a hand unit drift on you mid-shot, that’s exactly what these solve.
Can I use this setup at video village as well as on the cart?
