Comes with a 3/8″ threaded baby pin receiver and a safety pin on a rubber-coated lanyard. The lanyard screw is M3 × 6mm, if you ever need replacements, a bag of 100 runs about $8 from McMaster-Carr. Safety pins available from McMaster-Carr as well, we don’t sell them separately.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Moses Dock Kit:
What does this do exactly?
It’s a baby pin receiver that turns any 5/8″ baby pin into a mounting point for a Moses Fork. So instead of needing a full docking pole setup, you can stick the Dock Kit on a stand leg, a cart pin, or any other baby pin location on set, and the op has a place to rest the rig right there.
Do I need the Moses Pole if I have the Dock Kit?
Not necessarily, they solve slightly different problems. The Moses Pole is designed for an AC or dolly grip to carry the docking system with them on set, so the op can always dock nearby no matter where the scene ends. The Dock Kit is for mounting the fork to a fixed or semi-fixed baby pin location. Both use the same fork. Many productions use both.
Does the fork come included?
No, the Moses Fork is sold separately here. The Dock Kit is the receiver and hardware only.
Do safety pins come included?
The Dock Kit comes with one safety pin on a rubber-coated lanyard. Additional or replacement safety pins are available from McMaster-Carr, we don’t sell them separately.
What if the lanyard screw strips or breaks?
The screw is M3 × 6mm, a standard size. You can get a bag of 100 from McMaster-Carr for about $8.
Does the Dock Kit work with all Moses Fork sizes?
Yes, the 3/8″ threaded hole accepts the mounting bolt included with any Moses Fork size (1.5″, 1.75″, 2″, and Volt)
