We now offer 6 versions of the Steadicam Offset Bracket, also known as the Low Mode or J Bracket. We have straight or angled offsets in 3 different sizes.  All 6 versions come with one 4″ post and locking pin:

  • 1/2″ bracket for smaller rigs.  post has parallel holes
  • 5/8″ brackets.  posts have both parallel & perpendicular holes as of march 2024
  • 3/4″ bracket.  posts with both parallel & perpendicular holes.

I purchased the 3/4" Steadicam Offset Bracket for low mode on my rig. The bracket is solidly built and well thought out with multiple holes in the 4" post for safety with the locking pins. But more importantly Clean's service was top-notch! My rig is an older "frankestein" rig, and although it is supposed to have the standard 3/4" sized receiver on the gimbal things didn't quite match up. I reached out to David and he machined me a custom post so I could use the bracket with my rig. It fit perfectly!
