Combo: Cart Basic Left is the essential Clean’s cart system built around the QRB-L, the mirrored quick release base with the release lever on the left side. Same USA-machined quality as the standard QRB, same compatibility, same lifetime repair policy. The only difference is ergonomic: the left-hand release lets yer right hand stay planted on the back of the camera while the left hand pops the plate. One reviewer called it a game changer. Who is the QRB-L for?
Any operator or AC who wants their right hand to stay on the camera during a quick plate pull. With the standard QRB the release is on the right, which means yer right hand has to leave the camera body to pop it. Flip it, right hand stays, left hand releases. It’s not just for left-handed operators; plenty of right-handed ACs prefer it for exactly this reason. It’s about workflow, not handedness.
How is this different from the regular Combo: Cart Basic?
The only difference is the QRB, the Left version has its release lever mirrored. Everything else is identical: same dimensions, same plate compatibility, same Touch & Go, same pricing. If you’re not sure which you want, think about which hand you prefer to keep on the camera.
Does it work with the Arri BP9?
Yes, same 3/8″-16 threaded holes as the standard QRB, same mounting configurations.
What colors can I get?
All eight anodized colors on both pieces. Black ships from stock; all other colors are special order. Pre-order at the top of the page and check the current delivery window. Add a note at checkout if you want specific colors on each piece.
What’s the lifetime repair policy?
Both pieces are covered. Send either one back at any time, no expiration, no overseas shipping. We’ll fix it at a modest price. Email us first to work out the details.
