Frequently Asked Questions
What does “built-in dovetail” mean and why would I need it?
A dovetail is a sliding mount system used across camera support equipment, on heads, bridges, shoulder rigs, and other accessories. Most QRBs require a separate adapter to interface with a dovetail receiver. The QRB-DV has the dovetail machined directly into it, eliminating that adapter. If yer rig uses a dovetail receiver somewhere in the chain and you want the QRB to slide directly into it, this is the version you need.
How is it different from the standard QRB?
The only difference is the integrated dovetail. Dimensions, weight, plate compatibility, color options, lifetime repair policy, all identical to the standard QRB. The price difference ($525 vs $425) covers the additional machining.
Does it work with the Arri BP9?
Yes, same 3/8″-16 threaded holes and mounting options as the standard QRB.
Does it come with a Touch & Go plate?
No, add one here for $110. Total with T&G is $635.
How long does it take to get one?
Backorder lead time is 2–7 weeks, slightly longer than the standard QRB. Email us with yer timeline if it’s a factor.
Can I get it in color?
Yes, all eight anodized options available as special order. Pre-order at the top of the page.
This part simplifies what i used to use. I love its simplicity.
This was something I’d been looking for for a long time. Clean’s did a great job with this and even added a thing or two to the design I wouldn’t have thought of.
Very unique part but a must have if you have the right situation. Very well made.
