The rosie handunit bracket is a complete family of remote focus products built around the features ACs kept asking for.

Three things that set the rosie handunit brackets apart:

🔩 Anti-twist pins, removable discs give you three mounting options and keep everything from rotating on you mid-shot.

⚙️ Arri rosettes, yer monitor bracket won’t slip. This is the one that makes the difference when things get bumpy.

🔲 Arri cube holes, standard cube pattern throughout, so you’ve got mounting options for whatever else you want to attach.

Available for every major hand unit system:

Arri SXU-1, Arri Hi-5, Preston HU3/4, Teradek CTRL.1 & .3, Teradek CTRL.5, Tilta Nucleus, C-Motion C-Pro

Ten reviews. Zero below five stars. “Modular design, lightweight, solid build” is how one reviewer put it. Another: “perfect for lightweight setups or mounted directly to yer station.”

Dimensions: 2″ × 2″ × 2″ · Weight: 5 oz

Frequently Asked Questions about the Rosie Handunit Bracket:

Does the Preston version work with both HU3 and HU4?
Yes, the Preston HU3/4 Rosie works with both the HU3 and HU4. There’s also a separate Preston HU3/4 Adapter version for adapter-based mounting configurations. If you’re not sure which you need, email us with yer setup and we’ll point you to the right one.

What are the anti-twist pins for?
They’re removable discs that give you three different mounting configurations and prevent the bracket from rotating once it’s positioned. If you’ve ever had a hand unit bracket slowly spin on you mid-shot, you know why this matters. The discs are the fix.

What do the Arri cube holes let me do?
They follow the standard Arri cube hole pattern, which means you can attach any Arri cube-compatible accessory, additional brackets, arms, flags, whatever yer setup calls for. It turns the Rosie into a mounting platform, not just a hand unit holder.

Is there a replacement if the adapter breaks or wears out?
Yes, Replacement Rosie Adapters are sold separately at $25. Available in Arri, flat, and SmallHD configurations.

Can I use it at video village as well as on the cart?
Yes, one reviewer specifically calls this out: “perfect for lightweight setups or mounted directly to yer station.” The Rosie is compact and light enough that it works anywhere you need to park a hand unit cleanly

Build the Full Cart System

The QRB is the centerpiece, here’s what pairs with it:

  • Touch & Go Plate, the plate that lives on yer camera. Drop in, click, done.
  • Spinner Plate, mounts under the QRB, rotates 360°. Get through doors without pulling the camera.
  • Riser, raises the QRB to proper working height on yer cart. Pairs with the Spinner for the full setup.

The Quick Release Base market breaks down like this as of 2026:

Ronford Baker, the industry standard. $634. Repairs ship to the UK. Great plate if yer okay waiting a month and paying international shipping every time something needs attention.

Shape / Wooden Camera, $351–$399. Made in China. Operators have documented failures inside a year.

Clean’s QRB, $450. Machined in the USA by a craftsman with 30 years in the industry. And here’s the part nobody else offers: it’s repairable for life, at a modest price, no matter how old it is. Send it back in five years. Ten years. We’ll fix it.

That’s not a warranty. That’s just how we do business.

Compatible with all large-format quick release systems, O’Connor 120mm Euro plate, Sachtler 35, Arri BP9. Multiple 3/8″-16 threaded holes for just about any mounting config you can throw at it. Eight anodized color options, because yer kit should look like yer kit.
